Non alloy and alloy engineering steels
| These steels are
characterized mainly by their utilizisation mechanical properties. They are used generally
in softened state then treated before finishing either in the mass by quenching and
tempering or at in the surface by superficial quenching,case hardening, nitrogen
hardening. They principally consist of non alloy or alloy steels containing boron, manganese, silicium, nickel, chromium, molybdenum or a combination of these elements. They are used principally for the manufacturing of :
